PNP pre-biased transistor with integrated bias resistors
The Infineon BCR 158 B6327 is a PNP pre-biased transistor in a PG-SOT23 surface-mount package. It integrates a 2.2 kOhms base resistor (R1) and a 47 kOhms emitter-base resistor (R2), eliminating two external resistors from the board and simplifying the BOM for low-power switching applications. Rated for a collector-emitter breakdown voltage of 50 V and a maximum collector current of 100 mA, it suits relay drivers, LED switching, and logic-level interface circuits where a single PNP transistor with bias network is needed. The transition frequency of 200 MHz supports moderate-speed switching, and the DC current gain (hFE) is a minimum of 70 at 5 mA, 5 V. Maximum power dissipation is 200 mW.
