Pre-biased PNP for space-constrained switching
The BCR 153L3 E6327: The Infineon BCR 153L3 is a PNP pre-biased digital transistor in a SOT-883 package (PG-TSLP-3-4). It integrates two 2.2 kOhm resistors — one in series with the base (R1) and one from base to emitter (R2) — eliminating two external passives from the BOM. This is a switching transistor, not a linear amplifier: the built-in bias network sets a fixed base current for a given collector load, simplifying on/off control in low-power loads such as relay drivers, LED indicators, and logic-level interface circuits.
50 V breakdown, 100 mA collector — what it handles
The collector-emitter breakdown voltage is 50 V, and the continuous collector current is rated at 100 mA. The 250 mW power dissipation limit is the package ceiling. The 200 MHz transition frequency is high enough for PWM up to several megahertz.
Active, in production — no LTB risk
The base product number is BCR 153, and this variant ships in Tape & Reel for automated pick-and-place.
