What is the BCR 148S H6827 and what does it do?
The Infineon BCR 148S H6827 is a dual NPN pre-biased transistor array in a SOT-363 package. Each transistor integrates two 47 kΩ resistors — one in series with the base, one from base to emitter — so you can switch loads up to 100 mA collector current without external bias resistors. The 50 V collector-emitter breakdown and 100 MHz transition frequency cover general-purpose low-side switching in industrial control, relay drivers, and logic-level interface circuits.
This part is listed as obsolete. Infineon no longer manufactures the BCR 148S H6827, so new production orders are not available through the factory channel.
Rework note on the SOT-363 package
The SOT-363 (SC-88) package is a 6-lead surface-mount body about 2.0 × 2.1 mm. The low thermal mass means it lifts without cooking the board if you preheat the PCB to 100 °C. Tape & Reel delivery is standard, so kitting for volume reflow is straightforward.
