Pre-biased NPN in a 0.6 mm² footprint
The BCR 148L3 E6327: The Infineon BCR 148L3 is a pre-biased NPN transistor that integrates two 47 kΩ resistors — one in series with the base, one between base and emitter — in a single SC-101 / SOT-883 package. This eliminates the need for external bias resistors, saving board area and reducing pick-and-place cost. It is rated for 50 V collector-emitter breakdown and 70 mA continuous collector current, with a minimum DC current gain of 70 at 5 mA / 5 V.
250 mW power limit in a tiny package
The 250 mW maximum power dissipation is the thermal ceiling for this PG-TSLP-3-4 package.
100 MHz transition frequency — switching and interface use
The 100 MHz transition frequency (fT) means this transistor can handle low-speed switching up to a few megahertz and can serve as a level shifter or logic buffer for signals up to a few hundred kilobaud. The 300 mV saturation voltage at 500 µA base current and 10 mA collector current keeps conduction losses low in saturated-switching applications.
