Pre-biased NPN — what the integrated resistors buy you
The BCR 146T E6327: The BCR 146T is an Infineon NPN pre-biased transistor that integrates two resistors into the package: a 47 kΩ base resistor (R1) and a 22 kΩ emitter-base resistor (R2). This eliminates two external passive components from the BOM for simple switching and interface applications — the transistor turns on when the base drive exceeds the resistor divider threshold, with no external bias network to design or place. Rated for 50 V collector-emitter breakdown and 70 mA continuous collector current, with a transition frequency of 150 MHz.
SC-75 SOT-416 footprint
Packaged in the 3-pin SC-75 (SOT-416) case — supplier device code PG-SC75-3D — this is a small surface-mount footprint suited for dense PCB layouts. The 250 mW power dissipation ceiling limits continuous current in free-air; derate per the thermal resistance for the board copper area you allocate.
Obsolete — sourcing reality
Infineon lists the BCR 146T as Obsolete. Sourcing is limited to the independent distribution channel — new-old-stock and surplus inventory only.
