NPN pre-biased in a 1.0 × 0.6 mm footprint
The Infineon BCR 142L3 E6327 is an NPN pre-biased transistor in a SOT-883 (SC-101) package, integrating a 22 kΩ base resistor and a 47 kΩ emitter-base resistor. This built-in bias network eliminates two external passives per transistor, shrinking the placement area to 1.0 × 0.6 mm — useful in dense portable or multi-channel driver arrays where board space is tight. Rated for 50 V collector-emitter breakdown and 100 mA continuous collector current, it handles 24 V industrial logic rails and low-power solenoid or relay pre-drive with margin. The 150 MHz transition frequency keeps switching edges clean for sub-MHz PWM and general-purpose interface level shifting.
250 mW power limit in a tiny package
Maximum power dissipation is 250 mW. In the SOT-883 body, that thermal budget means the part is sized for signal-level loads, not continuous high-current drive. At 10 mA collector current with a 300 mV Vce(sat), dissipation stays under 3 mW — well inside the ceiling. Keep the ambient below 85 °C if running near the 100 mA peak, or derate per the thermal resistance curve in the datasheet.
