Pre-biased NPN in a SOT-23 — what it saves on the board
The Infineon BCR 133 B6327 is an NPN pre-biased transistor — it integrates two 10 kΩ resistors (R1 on the base, R2 from base to emitter) inside a single SOT-23 package. That means one component replaces a standard BJT plus two external resistors, cutting placement cost and board area on digital-switching and interface circuits. Rated for 50 V collector-emitter breakdown and 100 mA continuous collector current, with a 130 MHz transition frequency — enough for low-speed logic-level translation, relay drivers, and general-purpose switching up to a few megahertz. Maximum power dissipation is 200 mW in the PG-SOT23 package, so derate for ambient temperature if running near the limit in a dense layout.
Active production — no end-of-life watch needed
Infineon lists the BCR 133 B6327 as Active. No last-time-buy notice or successor part has been issued.
