Dual NPN in a compact SOT-363 — what you're working with
The Infineon BC846SE6327BTSA1 is a dual NPN small-signal transistor in a 6-VSSOP / SC-88 / SOT-363 surface-mount package. Two matched NPNs share a common substrate, saving board area compared to two discrete SOT-23s. The 65 V collector-emitter breakdown rating and 250 MHz transition frequency suit it for level shifting, signal amplification, and current-mirror circuits up to 100 mA collector current.
Infineon lists the BC846SE6327BTSA1 as obsolete. No new production runs are planned.
The 65 V V(BR)CEO gives you headroom on a 24 V or 48 V rail — plenty of margin for inductive kickback in relay-drive or solenoid-drive circuits. The 250 MHz fT means the device can handle fast switching in the low-MHz range, useful for gate-drive buffers or oscillator stages. Maximum power dissipation is 250 mW. In the SOT-363 footprint, that limits continuous collector current to roughly 100 mA at 25 °C ambient — derate if the board runs hot or if both transistors are conducting simultaneously.
