Dual-pair common-cathode switching diode — 80 V, 4 ns trr
The Infineon BAV70UE6327 is a dual-pair common-cathode standard switching diode in a compact SC-74 (SOT-457) surface-mount package.
The 4 ns trr is the headline switching-speed spec. In a flyback snubber or a high-speed data-line clamp, that recovery time determines how cleanly the diode turns off when the polarity reverses. A slower diode would leave a longer tail current, injecting noise into the signal path or increasing switching loss in a power loop. At 4 ns this part keeps the recovery transient short enough for most logic-level and low-power switching applications up into the tens of megahertz.
With an 80 V reverse voltage rating, this diode gives comfortable margin on 24 V and 48 V rails, and it still holds up on 60 V bus voltages with 20 V of headroom for transients. For a dual-pair common-cathode part, the current budget per leg is independent, so you can parallel the two pairs for 400 mA total if the PCB thermal layout supports it.
SC-74 (SOT-457) package — footprint and reflow
The SC-74 (SOT-457) is a 6-pin surface-mount package with a 1.5 mm body width and 0.95 mm pin pitch. It reflows on a standard lead-free profile and fits the same footprint as many other dual-diode parts in the SOT-457 family.
For a BOM line, this part does not trigger an obsolescence risk flag.
