Fast dual diode for board-level switching and clamping
The Infineon BAV70E6433HTMA1 is a dual small-signal switching diode with a common-cathode configuration in a three-pin SOT-23 package. SOT-23 footprint and field-swap reality
The SOT-23-3 package (PG-SOT23) is a standard surface-mount footprint. Orientation is unambiguous: the common-cathode pin (pin 3) is typically the tab side. On a field repair without a hot-air station, a fine-tip iron and tweezers can swap it — the three leads are on 0.95 mm pitch, so there is enough room to wick solder from each pad. No special ESD precautions beyond the usual wrist strap.
