Series-connected diode pair for high-speed switching
The BAV 99T E6327: The Infineon BAV 99T is a dual small-signal switching diode with the two junctions connected in series inside a single SC-75 (SOT-416) surface-mount package.
The 80 V reverse voltage rating gives comfortable headroom on 24 V and 48 V buses without derating concerns. The 4 ns trr is the key spec for high-speed switching: it determines how quickly the diode stops conducting after the voltage reverses, directly affecting ringing and overshoot in snubber networks or flyback clamping. At 150 mA forward current the forward voltage drop is 1.25 V max, which is typical for a small-signal silicon diode at that current level.
