What this Schottky diode is for
The Infineon BAT60AE6327HTSA1 is a Schottky rectifier rated for 10 V reverse voltage and 3 A average forward current, housed in a SOD-323 surface-mount package. The low forward voltage of 370 mV at 1 A keeps conduction losses down in tight thermal budgets typical of under-hood and cabin electronics.
Ratings that matter for the BOM
Reverse leakage is 2.6 mA at 8 V, typical for a Schottky of this die size. That leakage doubles with temperature, so in a hot engine bay the standing power loss through the reverse-blocking diode needs a line-item in the thermal calculation. Capacitance of 35 pF at 5 V is low enough for switching supplies above 500 kHz, but not for RF front-end work — that spec is for the rectifier role, not signal detection.
No end-of-life notice has been issued. ROHS3 compliance is confirmed. No LTB risk on this base product number.
