Schottky barrier diode for 200 mA rail protection
The Infineon BAT5402VH6327XTSA1 is a 30 V, 200 mA Schottky barrier diode in the SC-79 (SOD-523) surface-mount package. The Schottky technology delivers a forward voltage of 800 mV maximum at 100 mA, keeping conduction losses low in low-current rectification and OR-ing applications.
Switching speed and capacitance profile
The junction capacitance is 10 pF at 1 V reverse bias and 1 MHz, which keeps capacitive loading low on data lines or high-impedance nodes. Reverse leakage is 2 µA at the rated 25 V reverse voltage, a figure that doubles with every 10 °C rise in junction temperature. The maximum junction temperature is 150 °C, so for continuous 200 mA operation at 85 °C ambient, derate the forward current to stay inside the thermal envelope.
Housed in the SC-79 (SOD-523) package, the diode occupies minimal board area — roughly 1.6 mm × 0.8 mm footprint. The PG-SC79-2 supplier device package is a two-terminal leadless design with solderable end caps, suitable for reflow soldering. Tape-and-reel packaging supports automated pick-and-place.
Production status and compliance
It is RoHS3 compliant, meeting the EU directive 2011/65/EU and its amendments. No other regulatory certifications (UL, IEC) are listed in the available documentation.
