Small-signal Schottky for tight spaces
The Infineon BAT5402LRHE6327XTSA1 is a 30 V, 200 mA Schottky rectifier diode in an ultra-compact SOD-882 leadless package. It is built for low-voltage, high-frequency switching applications where board real estate is at a premium.
The 10 pF capacitance at 1 V reverse bias is low enough to keep switching losses minimal in a 1–10 MHz converter and to avoid loading a sensitive RF node. The 5 ns trr is standard for a Schottky of this size; it will not be the bottleneck in a 100 kHz or 1 MHz switcher, but at 10 MHz+ the junction capacitance starts to dominate the switching loss budget.
The SOD-882 package (Infineon designation PG-TSLP-2-7) is a 2-pin leadless surface-mount part.
It is ROHS3 compliant. The base product number is BAT5402.
