Schottky pair in a small package
Its 5 ns reverse recovery time suits high-speed switching in DC-DC converters, flyback snubbers, and OR-ing diodes on low-voltage rails. The SC-70 (SOT-323) package keeps the footprint small, and the common-cathode layout reduces external wiring for half-bridge or dual-rectifier stages.
Forward drop and leakage at the junction
Forward voltage is 800 mV maximum at 100 mA. Reverse leakage is 2 µA at 25 V reverse bias.
Package and rework
The SC-70 (SOT-323) body is small — about 2.0 mm × 1.25 mm — and the three leads are on a 1.3 mm pitch. It reflows cleanly with standard lead-free profiles. Pin 1 identification is marked by a dot or bevel on the package top; the common cathode is pin 2, with anodes on pins 1 and 3.
