X-band mixer diode in a dual leadless package
The Infineon BAT15-098LRHE6327 is a low-barrier Schottky diode pair designed specifically for X-band mixer and detector applications. Each of the two independent diodes handles up to 110 mA average rectified current with a forward voltage of just 410 mV at 10 mA—the low Vf keeps conversion loss down in the RF front end.
Package and mounting
The 4 V maximum DC reverse voltage (Vr) tells you this is a very low-barrier Schottky—not a rectifier. In a mixer or detector circuit the RF swing rarely exceeds a few hundred millivolts, so the low breakdown is fine; the trade-off is a much lower Vf than a 20 V or 40 V Schottky would give. The 150°C maximum junction temperature allows soldering and rework without derating, but the tiny PG-TSLP-4-7 package (4-XFDFN) has almost no thermal mass—hot-air rework needs a low-profile nozzle and a preheat to avoid lifting the pads.
