Active part, 70 V Schottky pair — what the ratings mean for a BOM decision
The BAS7004SH6327XTSA1: It packs two Schottky diodes in a 2-pair series configuration inside a single SOT-363 (PG-SOT363-PO) package. The series arrangement doubles the effective reverse voltage per leg — each diode sees 70 V, but the pair in series can block up to 140 V across the string, useful for clamping or steering in multi-rail circuits where the reverse stress splits across two junctions. Each diode is rated for 70 mA DC average rectified current (Io) with a forward voltage of 1 V max at 15 mA. The 100 pA reverse leakage at 50 V is typical for a small-signal Schottky — that leakage doubles with temperature, so at 85 °C junction you're looking at maybe 10 nA, still negligible for the signal paths this part is used in.
100 ps reverse recovery — the switching edge that matters
The 100 ps typical trr is the headline switching spec. The small-signal speed classification (Small Signal =< 200 mA, Any Speed) is a JEDEC catch-all — it tells you this is not a power rectifier. The 70 mA per-diode current limit and the SOT-363 footprint (0.65 mm lead pitch) mean you're routing it on a standard PCB with no special thermal management; the junction temp maxes at 150 °C, and the package's thermal resistance to ambient is around 350 °C/W, so derate the current above 85 °C ambient.
