Small-signal Schottky pair for high-speed switching
The Infineon BAS70-06WE6327 is a dual Schottky diode in a common-anode configuration, housed in a PG-SOT323-3-1 surface-mount package. It is rated for a maximum reverse voltage of 70 V and can handle 70 mA DC average rectified current per diode. The 100 ps reverse recovery time makes it suitable for high-frequency rectification, clamping, and snubbing circuits where fast turn-off is needed.
Package and mounting
The 70 V reverse voltage covers 5 V, 12 V, and 24 V rails with margin for transients. The 100 ps trr is essentially instant for any switching supply or logic-level signal — you will not see stored-charge tail in the waveform. Forward voltage drops 1 V at 15 mA, typical for a small-signal Schottky; at lower currents it will be lower, which matters for low-voltage clamping.
Common-anode pair — layout and circuit fit
The SOT-323 footprint is compact — 2.0 mm x 1.25 mm — so it fits tight mixed-signal boards. Reverse leakage is 100 nA at 50 V, low enough for battery-powered sense circuits.
For a small-signal Schottky in a standard SOT-323 package, this means stable supply and no forced last-time-buy planning.
