Dual Schottky in a small SOT-323
The Infineon BAS70-05WH6327 is a dual Schottky diode with a common-cathode configuration, packaged in a PG-SOT323-3 surface-mount case. It pairs two 70 V, 70 mA Schottky diodes in a single three-pin SOT-323, saving board space compared to two discrete diodes. The 100 ps reverse recovery time makes it suitable for high-speed switching applications like protection clamping, flyback snubbing, and signal rectification in low-power circuits.
The 70 V reverse voltage rating covers 48 V telecom rails and 60 V industrial supplies with margin. Each diode handles 70 mA average rectified current (DC) — enough for signal-level clamping, I/O protection, or low-current OR-ing. Forward voltage is 1 V maximum at 15 mA, typical for a small-signal Schottky. The 100 nA reverse leakage at 50 V is low enough not to load high-impedance nodes.
Package and storage note
The PG-SOT323-3 package is a standard three-lead SOT-323. Keep reels in a dry cabinet or sealed moisture-barrier bag to avoid any risk.
