Forward drop and recovery — where the losses live
The BAS4005E6327HTSA1: That near-instantaneous recovery means negligible switching losses in a 100 kHz or higher boost converter or in a signal-line clamp where every nanosecond of stored charge adds ringing. Reverse leakage is 1 µA at 30 V reverse bias — the Schottky barrier trades higher leakage for the low Vf and fast recovery. At elevated junction temperature (max 150 °C), leakage rises exponentially; derate the reverse voltage margin if the diode sits near a hot regulator or in a 125 °C ambient.
SOT-23 footprint and dual-diode routing
Housed in a PG-SOT23 package (SOT-23-3, SC-59 compatible), the common-cathode pair shares the centre pin as the cathode common. The two anodes are on pins 1 and 3 — a standard footprint that lets you route two independent Schottky diodes in a single 3-pin package, saving board area over two separate SOT-23 singles. Surface-mount assembly with tape-and-reel packaging (Cut Tape also available) — the reel quantity suits medium-volume pick-and-place without a reel change.
