Dual Schottky in a three-lead SOT-323 — what you're working with
The Infineon BAS40-06WH6327 is a dual Schottky diode in a common-anode configuration, housed in a PG-SOT323-3 package (SC-70 equivalent). Each diode is rated for 40 V reverse voltage and 120 mA average rectified current — sized for signal-level switching, polarity protection, and OR-ing on low-power rails. The forward voltage drops to 1 V at 40 mA forward current, which is typical for a small-signal Schottky.
40 V reverse voltage — what it buys you
The 40 V Vr(max) provides headroom on industrial rails and handles inductive kick from a relay or solenoid when used as a freewheeling clamp.
Common-anode pair — layout and substitution
With the two cathodes separate and the anodes tied internally, this part replaces two discrete Schottkys in a single SOT-323 footprint when the circuit calls for a shared anode.
Infineon continues to manufacture this part in the PG-SOT323-3 package.
