Small-signal Schottky pair in a SOT-23
The Infineon BAS40-06E6327 is a dual Schottky diode with a common-anode configuration, rated for small-signal switching up to 200 mA. Each diode handles 120 mA average rectified current and blocks 40 V reverse voltage. Forward voltage drops to 1 V at 40 mA, and reverse leakage is 1 µA at 30 V. The junction can run up to 150°C, which makes it usable in hot environments like power-supply secondary-side rectification or reverse-polarity protection on a 24 V industrial bus.
The 40 V reverse voltage is the absolute maximum the diode can block before avalanche — treat it as a hard ceiling, not a design target. For a 12 V rail with transients, it gives about 3× margin; on a 24 V rail you are tighter, so add a TVS if spikes exceed 40 V. The 120 mA per diode is the average rectified current; if both diodes conduct at once the total is still 120 mA shared, not 240 mA. For a 100 mA load on each channel you are fine; for 150 mA per channel you need a bigger device.
Infineon is still manufacturing it, so there is no last-time-buy deadline or forced redesign. It is a standard SOT-23 Schottky that shows up on thousands of BOMs — supply is stable through the usual channels.
