Two Schottky diodes in one SOT-143 — what you get
The Infineon BAS 40-07 B6327 is a dual Schottky diode with two independent junctions in a single PG-SOT-143-3D surface-mount package. Each diode is rated for a maximum reverse voltage of 40 V and an average rectified current of 120 mA DC. The sub-nanosecond reverse recovery time of 100 ps makes it suited for high-speed switching, RF detector circuits, and clamping applications where fast turn-off matters.
A 40 V Vr rating gives comfortable headroom for 5 V, 12 V, and even 24 V supply rails. The reverse leakage is specified at 1 µA maximum at 30 V, so in a 5 V circuit the actual leakage will be well below that — negligible for most battery-powered or low-power designs.
100 ps trr — why it matters for fast edges
The 100 ps reverse recovery time is the standout spec here. A standard pn-junction diode would take tens of nanoseconds to turn off, which creates a current spike every switching cycle.
Infineon lists the BAS 40-07 B6327 as obsolete. No factory orders are being accepted; the only supply channel is the surplus and broker market.
