The BAS 40-06 B5003: Dual Schottky diode in a common-anode configuration, housed in a SOT-23-3 surface-mount package. Designed for small-signal switching applications up to 200 mA, with a reverse voltage rating of 40 V and an average rectified current of 120 mA per diode. The 100 ps reverse recovery time makes it suitable for high-speed rectification, clamping, and protection circuits in low-power DC-DC converters, signal conditioning, and ESD protection.
The 40 V reverse voltage (Vr) sets the maximum DC blocking voltage; stay below this in rectifier or protection roles. The 120 mA average rectified current per diode is the continuous load limit — if your circuit draws more, you need a higher-current Schottky or a parallel pair. The 100 ps trr is exceptionally fast, so this part handles high-frequency switching without significant reverse-recovery losses, but the 1 µA leakage at 30 V means it is not the lowest-leakage choice for battery-powered sense circuits.
