Three fast-switching diodes in one SC-74 package
The BAS 16U E6327: The Infineon BAS 16U packs three independent standard switching diodes into a single PG-SC74-6 surface-mount package. This configuration suits multi-channel signal clamping, high-frequency rectification, and protection networks where board space is tight.
In a DC-DC converter snubber or a high-frequency rectifier stage, that fast recovery minimises switching losses and keeps ringing under control. Compared to a general-purpose 1N4148 (typically 4 ns as well), this part matches the speed but adds the triple-diode integration in a single SC-74 footprint.
80 V reverse voltage — margin for 24 V and 48 V bus lines
With 80 V maximum DC reverse voltage and 200 mA average forward current per diode, the BAS 16U E6327 provides comfortable derating for 24 V industrial control buses and even 48 V telecom rails where transient spikes can exceed the nominal level. The 1.25 V forward drop at 150 mA is typical for a small-signal switching diode in this voltage class.
