It handles up to 200 mA average rectified current (Io) and blocks 80 V reverse voltage (Vr), making it suitable for general-purpose switching, clamping, and protection in low-power circuits. The SC-79 / SOD-523 package (PG-SC79-2) is a tiny 1.6 mm × 0.8 mm footprint, so it fits where board space is tight, but you will want a good reflow profile or fine-tipped iron for hand assembly.
Infineon lists the BAS 16-02V E6327 as obsolete. That means the manufacturer has stopped production — no last-time-buy window remains open through the factory channel.
The 80 V reverse voltage gives you headroom on 48 V telecom rails and 24 V industrial buses — the diode will not avalanche during normal operation. The 200 mA average rectified current is the DC load limit; for pulsed duty you can push higher peak currents, but stay within the junction temperature ceiling of 150°C. Forward voltage drops 1.25 V at 150 mA — typical for a small-signal silicon diode, but if you are rectifying a low-voltage rail (say 3.3 V), that 1.25 V drop eats over a third of the swing, so consider a Schottky instead. The 2 pF capacitance at 0 V, 1 MHz is low enough that it will not load down a high-speed data line, making this diode usable for ESD clamping on I2C or SPI buses up to a few MHz.
