The integrated trace antenna saves a PCB layout iteration — no external antenna matching network needed for basic range, though a U.FL variant exists for designs requiring an external whip or ceramic chip antenna.

Receiving current sits at 95–100 mA; transmitting draws 130–240 mA depending on output power setting and modulation — the 13 dBm max output means a 20 mW conducted power level that stays within most regional EIRP limits for 2.4 GHz ISM bands.
