The SMBJ60A-13-F: It protects a single unidirectional line — the 60 V standoff means a 48 V or 60 V nominal rail sits below the breakdown threshold (66.7 V min), so the diode stays dark during normal operation and only conducts when a transient pushes the line above the clamp voltage.
