The SMBJ16CAQ-13-F: This part is qualified to AEC-Q101, the automotive-grade discrete semiconductor stress test qualification, and operates across -55°C to +150°C junction temperature — covering the full under-hood and engine-bay thermal profile.
The SMB body is smaller than the SMC package but still dissipates 600W peak pulse — the copper pad area under the cathode tab sets the thermal impedance for repetitive surge events.
As an AEC-Q101 qualified device, the part ships with the standard automotive-grade documentation package: PPAP level 3 data, RoHS compliance, and REACH SVHC declaration are available from the manufacturer upon request through the supply chain.
