600W bidirectional TVS – clamping and pulse ratings
A bidirectional Zener-type TVS, the SMBJ10CA-13-F clamps at 17 V maximum when hit with a 35.3 A peak pulse current (10/1000 µs waveform). The reverse standoff voltage is 10 V, meaning the device stays transparent on a 10 V rail and only starts conducting when the transient exceeds the 11.1 V minimum breakdown threshold. For shorter transients (e.g. 8/20 µs), the peak current capability is higher; the datasheet derating curve governs the trade-off.
DO-214AA SMB – surface-mount footprint
No power line protection (the device is intended for signal/data line clamping, not AC mains).
