The P6KE300A-B is a 600W peak-pulse-power Zener TVS diode from Diodes Incorporated, designed to clamp transients on DC power rails and signal lines.
The 256V standoff means the diode does not conduct at normal line voltages up to that level, only clamping when a transient pushes the line above the 285V breakdown threshold. The 414V clamp ceiling limits the voltage the downstream circuit sees during a surge event.
