1 A, 1 kV — the power-handling envelope
Rated for 1 A average rectified output current (Io) and 1 kV peak repetitive reverse voltage (Vrrm), the HDS10M-13 fits low-current AC-DC front ends where the DC bus sits at several hundred volts — think auxiliary power supplies in motor drives, appliance control boards, or industrial SMPS bias rails. Reverse leakage is 5 µA at the full 1000 V blocking voltage — negligible at room temperature, but leakage doubles with every 10°C junction rise, so a hot environment pushes the off-state loss up and should be factored into the standby-power budget.
Temperature grade and board integration
Supplied in a 4-SMD Gull Wing package (supplier device package HDS), the part is pick-and-place compatible with standard reflow profiles. The Gull Wing leads provide visual solder-joint inspection access — an advantage over leadless packages for prototypes and low-volume builds.
