Clamping voltage and pulse handling for the 1.5KE30A-B
Its 25.6 V reverse standoff voltage protects a 24 V rail, clamping at 41.4 V when the surge current reaches 36 A. The 36 A peak pulse current rating at the 10/1000 µs test condition means this device absorbs a substantial transient before the clamping voltage rises above the protected circuit's absolute maximum. For a 24 VDC supply bus, the 25.6 V standoff provides margin against steady-state ripple without nuisance triggering.
Supplied in a DO-201AA (DO-27) axial-lead package, the 1.5KE30A-B mounts through-hole. The wide TJ range is typical for TVS diodes that must survive both cold-start and hot-soak conditions without derating the peak pulse power.
