The Coilcraft LPS4018-473MRC is a shielded drum-core power inductor in the LPS4018 series, delivering 47 µH inductance at 100 kHz test frequency with ±20% tolerance. Rated for 450 mA continuous current with a saturation current floor of 510 mA, the 650 mOhm max DCR sets the I²R conduction loss that drives the temperature rise under load. Qualified to AEC-Q200, the part operates across -40°C to +125°C, covering the automotive under-hood temperature band and industrial enclosures without derating concerns.
Shielded construction and board-fit footprint
The ferrite core and full magnetic shield contain the flux within the 3.90 mm × 3.90 mm body — adjacent high-density routing and nearby sensitive traces see minimal coupled noise, a common concern in power-stage layouts.
