4.7 µH shielded drum core for automotive DC-DC
The Coilcraft LPS4018-472MRC is a 4.7 µH shielded drum core inductor in the LPS4018 series, rated for 1.3 A continuous with a saturation current floor of 1.8 A. The 125 mOhm max DCR sets the I²R loss budget — at full rated current, expect about 210 mW of copper loss, which the 4.0 mm × 4.0 mm × 1.8 mm footprint must dissipate without exceeding the 125 °C operating ceiling. The shielded construction keeps the flux contained, so adjacent traces or a nearby GND plane won't shift the inductance or couple noise into the rail.
