The Coilcraft LPS3015-683MRC is an active-production shielded power inductor in the LPS3015 series, qualified to AEC-Q200 — the passive-component stress qualification for automotive-grade electronics. Rated 68 µH at 100 kHz test frequency, it handles 330 mA continuous DC and saturates at 310 mA — the saturation current is the hard ceiling for the magnetic core, not a derating target. Maximum DC resistance is 2.35 Ohm, which sets the I²R copper loss at full rated current to about 256 mW — a figure that stays within the 1.50 mm seated height thermal budget in still air.

Measures 2.95 mm × 2.95 mm with a 1.50 mm max seated height — a low-profile, shielded, ferrite-core inductor that fits dense power-supply layouts where board height is constrained. Self-resonant frequency is 14 MHz — above the switching frequency of most DC-DC converters in this inductance class, so the inductor behaves as a pure inductive element in the passband.
