AEC-Q200 qualified 4.7 µH shielded inductor for automotive power rails
The Coilcraft LPS3015-472MRC is a 4.7 µH shielded power inductor in the LPS3015 series, rated for 1.2 A continuous current with a DCR of 200 mOhm max.
Inductance, saturation, and self-resonant frequency
Inductance is 4.7 µH at 100 kHz test frequency, ±20% tolerance. The saturation current Isat is also 1.2 A, matching the rated current — so the inductor does not derate on DC bias up to the full current rating. Self-resonant frequency is 79 MHz, well above any switching regulator fundamental, keeping the inductive impedance dominant in the passband.
Surface mount in a nonstandard 2.95 mm square package, seated height 1.50 mm. The shielded ferrite core construction contains the magnetic field, reducing crosstalk to adjacent traces and components — important in dense automotive ECU layouts where the inductor sits near sensitive analog or RF circuitry.
