3.3 µH shielded inductor for DC-DC input/output filtering
The Coilcraft LPS3015-332MRC is a 3.3 µH shielded power inductor rated for 1.4 A continuous DC current with a maximum DCR of 130 mOhm. The 1.5 A saturation current (Isat) marks the hard limit where inductance drops — stay below this in peak-load transients to keep the ripple within the regulator's loop margin.
The ferrite core and shield reduce radiated EMI into adjacent traces, which matters when the inductor sits near a sensitive analog or RF section on the same layer. Strip packaging (EIA-481 carrier tape) is the standard delivery format for pick-and-place. The 100 kHz test frequency for inductance is the typical switching frequency for a buck converter in this current class — the 90 MHz self-resonant frequency is well above the converter's fundamental, so the inductor behaves as a pure inductance in the control loop.
