Second-source and cross-shop considerations
The closest functional peer in the same series-reference class is the ADR293GRZ from the XFET family, which also provides a fixed output but at 5 V with ±0.2% tolerance and 30 ppm/°C drift, and is rated for -40°C to 125°C. The ADR291FRZ and ADR291ERZ offer 2.5 V outputs with tighter tolerance and lower noise (8 µVp-p) but only 5 mA output current. None of these are pin-compatible drop-in replacements — the REF193GSZ is a 3 V part with 30 mA drive, so the choice depends on the required output voltage and load current. For a 3 V rail at moderate load, the REF193GSZ is the direct fit.
