Two-channel LVDS receiver in a SOT-23-8 footprint
The MAX9113EKA+T is a dual LVDS receiver from Analog Devices — it takes a differential LVDS input on each of two channels and outputs a single-ended CMOS signal. With 0 drivers and 2 receivers, it is a pure receive-side device; the transmit side needs a separate LVDS driver or serializer. Each channel handles up to 500 Mbps, giving a combined 1 Gbps throughput.
SOT-23-8 package and layout considerations
Housed in a SOT-23-8 surface-mount package, the part measures roughly 3×3 mm — tight enough for space-constrained boards but with a 0.65 mm pin pitch that demands careful routing for the differential input pairs. Supply decoupling is standard: a 0.1 µF ceramic close to each supply pin, plus a 1 µF bulk cap nearby. The differential inputs are internally terminated with 100 Ω — no external termination resistor needed between the pair.
