The Maxim Integrated MAX8903CETI+ is a 1-cell Lithium-Ion battery charger IC from the Smart Power Selector™ series. It handles a single Li-Ion cell with a programmable constant-current charge up to 2A, fed from a USB or adapter input rated up to 16V. The 28-TQFN (4x4 mm) package with exposed pad keeps thermal transfer honest for the 2A charge rate — the pad needs a solid via array to the ground plane if you plan to run near the limit.
