Dual 300 mA LDO with 60 dB PSRR — the noise floor matters for your analog rail
The MAX8634ELA+ from Analog Devices is a dual low-dropout linear regulator delivering 300 mA per output, each independently programmable between 2.6 V and 2.85 V. This is a positive-output LDO pair in a single 8-uDFN (2x2 mm) package — two independent rails for the footprint of one small IC. PSRR is the headline here: 60 dB at 1 kHz, rolling to 55 dB at 10 kHz. That means this LDO attenuates 1 kHz ripple from a switching pre-regulator by 1000×, but above 10 kHz the rejection drops — if your upstream switcher runs at 2 MHz, the PSRR at that frequency is lower than the 1 kHz figure, so you need to check the full curve. The 200 mV dropout at 100 mA per channel leaves headroom for a 2.85 V rail from a 3.3 V input. Quiescent current is 75 µA typical — low enough for always-on sensor supplies but not ultra-low-power; the enable pin lets you gate each regulator for sleep modes.
Protection and temperature range for industrial use
Built-in over-current, over-temperature, and undervoltage lockout (UVLO) protect the load and the regulator itself.
