What the 3.08V threshold and 140ms timeout mean for your rail
The MAX6821TUK+T is a single-channel voltage supervisor from Analog Devices that asserts a reset signal when the monitored supply drops below 3.08V and holds reset for a minimum of 140ms after the rail returns above threshold. This is a simple reset/power-on reset part — no watchdog timer, no manual reset input, no adjustable delay. The active-high push-pull output drives directly into the reset pin of an MCU or SoC that expects a logic-high during reset.
Package and footprint — SOT-23-5
Housed in a 5-pin SOT-23-5 (SC-74A) package, surface-mount only. No thermal pad to worry about — dissipation is low for this class of device.
The ROHS3 status means it meets the latest EU restriction exemption rules.
