65V input LDO for industrial and automotive rails
The MAX5085ATT+T is a positive adjustable linear regulator that handles a 65V maximum input and delivers 200mA. The 55dB PSRR at 100Hz provides moderate ripple rejection for powering analog circuits or sensor interfaces that sit on a noisy supply. For applications that need better high-frequency rejection, a post-filter or a higher-PSRR LDO would be the call — but for a 100Hz ripple dominated by rectified line frequency, this part does the job.
Protection and quiescent current
Built-in over-current, over-temperature, and short-circuit protection cover the common fault conditions in a power rail. The 140 µA quiescent current keeps the regulator efficient in always-on or battery-backed standby rails — a consideration when the BOM has multiple low-dropout regulators idling on the same supply. The maximum supply current is 4 mA, which includes the internal bias and any load on the reference.
