Wide-input buck regulator for industrial and automotive rails
The Maxim Integrated MAX5035DUSA+T is a step-down (buck) switching regulator that accepts an input voltage from 7.5 V up to 76 V and delivers a regulated adjustable output from 1.25 V to 13.2 V at up to 1 A. The 125 kHz switching frequency keeps inductor size moderate while avoiding the higher switching losses of faster converters.

Switching frequency and external component sizing
