SOT-23-6 current switch for overcurrent and fault detection
The MAX4995BAUT+T is a current switch from Analog Devices in a SOT-23-6 package, designed to monitor load current and assert a logic output when the current exceeds a user-set threshold. Accuracy is ±10% over the full temperature range, so a 1 A nominal trip point triggers between 0.9 A and 1.1 A — tight enough for most overcurrent protection loops but not for precision metering.
The SOT-23-6 footprint is a standard 3×3 mm body with 0.95 mm pitch — easy to route on a two-layer board and hand-solderable with a fine-tip iron if you need to swap one in the field.
