6 Gbps redriver for SAS/SATA storage links
The MAX4952BCTP+ is a two-channel Buffer/ReDriver from Analog Devices, purpose-built for SAS and SATA interfaces. It handles data rates up to 6 Gbps per channel — enough for SATA 3.0 and SAS 2.0/3.0 backplane and cable runs where signal degradation from PCB trace loss or connector crosstalk would otherwise close the eye.
300 ps delay, 100 mA supply, 3V-3.6V rail
Supply current is 100 mA from a 3V to 3.6V rail, so a single 3.3V LDO can power both channels without thermal concern in the 20-TQFN package.
