Eight-channel low-side driver with SPI control
The MAX4820ETP+ is an 8-channel low-side power driver for switching relays and solenoids. Each N-channel output sinks up to 70 mA continuously, with a typical on-resistance of 2 Ohm.
Load and thermal considerations
Because the outputs are low-side N-channel, the load must be connected between the positive supply rail and the output pin. The output switches the load return to ground.
