Eight SPST analog switches in a 24-SSOP
The Maxim MAX395EAG+ is an 8-channel SPST-NO analog switch array in a 24-SSOP package. Each switch is independently controlled and handles single-ended signals from 2.7 V up to 16 V on a single supply, or ±2.7 V to ±8 V with dual rails. The 100 ohm max on-resistance with 5 ohm channel-to-channel matching keeps signal attenuation consistent across all eight paths. Switching is fast enough for most audio and low-speed data multiplexing — 400 ns turn-on and turn-off times — and the -90 dB crosstalk at 100 kHz means minimal bleed between channels in a muxed signal chain. Charge injection is rated at 2 pC, low enough to avoid glitching sensitive ADC inputs in sample-and-hold applications.

The industrial temperature grade (-40°C to +85°C) covers factory-floor control cabinets, outdoor telecom pedestals, and engine-bay-adjacent enclosures. The 24-SSOP body (0.209-inch wide, 5.30 mm) is a standard footprint that routes easily on two-layer boards.
