Quad SPST switch for precision signal routing
The Maxim Integrated MAX353CSE+ is a quad SPST analog switch with independent normally-open and normally-closed contacts per channel, packaged in a 16-SOIC. Each channel presents a maximum 35 ohm on-resistance with 2 ohm channel-to-channel matching, making it suitable for precision analog multiplexing, audio routing, and data-acquisition front-ends where insertion loss and gain error must stay tight. Switching is rated at 175 ns turn-on and 145 ns turn-off, fast enough for moderate-speed sampled systems without introducing aperture distortion. The part operates from a single supply of 10 V to 30 V or dual supplies of ±4.5 V to ±20 V, giving flexibility for bipolar signal chains or single-rail designs.
Crosstalk is specified at -85 dB at 1 MHz. Charge injection is rated at 5 pC.
The single-supply range is 10 V to 30 V; the dual-supply range is ±4.5 V to ±20 V.
